THE START UP DISC explodes into a world flooded with competitions with contests that will begin from the scratch and end with an IDEA. SICC Business Conclave stands as a small gallery, typically consisting of a platform for budding ideas and innovations. The sole objective of "Start-up Disc" is to recognise such talent and passion behind the Ideas. It provides a platform to such exceptional, fresh and innovative start-up ideas. Those selected for on-campus rounds shall be under the mentorship of delegates, delivering tips and strategies on pitching your project and insight on how to navigate a newly minted career.
ELIGIBILITY-
Students pursuing the following courses shall be considered eligible for the competition
- 11th and 12th (Science, Commerce & Humanities)
- B.Com
- BBA
- Integrated LAW
- Integrated MBA
FORMAT:-
- The event will take place in 2 rounds- Prelims and the Final round
- All the rounds will be held in the SICC campus.
- Participating teams will need to qualify the Prelims to participate in the Final round.
RULES & REGULATIONS:-
- Judging Criterion (Tentative)
- There should be team of 2 - 3 members.
- All the participants in a team must belong to the same institution.
- Duplication of pre-existing ideas will not be enrolled. All submissions must reflect originality and creativity. Plagiarism will be checked.
- In the Finale, the jury will explain detailed rules before conducting every round
- All documents will remain the property of the participant(s) throughout the contest.
- Teams shall be judged on the basis of New and distinctive idea, Scale of business, Feasibility of idea, Sources of finance, Social aspect, Sustainability, Technicalities, if any.(Tentative)
- There is no word limit.
- The judge’s decision will be final and binding.
- The organizing team reserves the right to change or modify any of the rules.
Participants are requested to follow the above mentioned rules and regulations seriously. Any form of deviation will not be complied with.
Prizes worth up to Rs.22,500/- to be won.
