Intra-College Competitions at SICC

December has been a month of sports at SAI International College of Commerce. There was a number of sporting competitions from Carom to Chess to Kabaddi.

Intra-College Carrom (Boys) Competition

SICC Sports Committee organized a Carrom (Boys) Championship from November 21, 2019 to December 8, 2019. The knock-out matches between 20 teams concluded with two semi-final matches between Jayant Patro and Naman Panda from B.Com Final Year and Purul Pattnaik and Subham Sekhar (B. Com First Year). Jayant  Patro and Naman Panda emerged as winners of the Carrom Championship.

Intra-College Carrom (Girls) Competition

SICC Sports Club organised Carrom (Girls) Intra-College Competition between B.Com and BBA students on November 22, 2019 and November 30, 2019.

The knock-out matches on November 22, 2019 were conducted among the interested teams which concluded to qualify four teams into the semi-finals.

The final match was held on November 30, 2019 and crowned Bhamati Acharya and Suravi Patra of B.Com First Year as Champions where as Nibedita Bharati and Sapna Modi from B.Com first year ended up as Runners Up.

Intra-College Kabaddi Competition

Kabaddi; the Indian game or the game of our soil.  The SICC Sports Committee organized SICC Kabbadi League Matches from December 6, 2019 to December 9, 2019. The B.Com Second Years defeated the B.Com Final Year students on December 9, 2019 in a nail biting final match held at SICC campus.

Intra-College Chess Championship

The SICC Sports Committee conducted girls Chess championship from December 3, 2019 to December 8, 2019. Girls from both BBA and B.Com participated with high spirits. Sreelipta Rout of B.Com Second Year and Swayam Sampurna Mishra of B.Com Second Year knocked out every other competent participant to reach the finals. Swayam Sampurna Mishra emerged victorious.
