The students are engaged in a four-week internship programme every year during summer vacation with esteemed organisations such as NALCO, Gupta Power, Sambad, NTPC, Andhra Bank, FALCON etc. These programmes give students a world class experience and are a foundation for a student’s career. Students get opportunities to explore different career options, increase networking and learn vital things like etiquette and time management.
International Study Tours – SICC pioneered the concept of internationalism in commerce education in the State by establishing strategic, collaborative alliances with prestigious commerce universities from round the globe. To maximise the global perspective to education, the college apart from offering opportunities through worldwide linkages and collaborations, has initiated international study tours. These well structured tours will allow students to visit various acclaimed educational institutes to get a real life experience of their teaching learning processes, understand the different programmes and process for post-graduate degrees along with their fees structure. Student will also get an excellent opportunity to explore the cross-cultural leadership style and management by visiting top multi-national companies. This guided tour to overseas destinations also incorporates personal interaction with executives and staff of renowned business houses to gain an in-depth knowledge of their unique business challenges and contributions. Students will gain a vast and real life exposure on inter-continental commerce scenario as well as gain a unique insight into the challenges and opportunities facing the various businesses. It will also help to build a global networking of friendship and connections that becomes a stepping stone for success.
