 1. Amartya Sen:

Shri Amartya Sen’s contribution towards economics and social welfare has constantly changed and pushed international organisation to reconsider and research more on topics like poverty, food crisis, mortality, famines, etc. In 1998, he was awarded with Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences for welfare economics and social choice theory. As a graduate form Calcutta University, Shri Sen went to Presidency College in Kolkata, where he completed his B.A. in Economics with First in the First Class, and Mathematics as hi minor subject.

2. Kumar Mangalam Birla

Shri Kumar Mangalam Birla is the current Chairman of Aditya Birla Group which was previously chaired by his father Aditya Vikram Birla. A Rajasthani billionaire industrialist and the Chairman of one of the largest conglomerates in India, he is a force to be reckoned with. Shri. Birla has a bachelor’s degree under University of Mumbai. He is also a Chartered Accountant from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).

3. Prannay Roy:

Shri Prannay Roy is one of most famous journalist in the India. He is known for his truthful yet active journalism. Besides journalism he is also an author and a professional British Chartered Accountant and Economist. He was the Economic Advisor in the Indian government’s Ministry of Finance and an Associate Professor at the Delhi School of Economics, where he developed a macro-econometric forecasting model for the Indian economy.  He has also been a consultant to the India division of international accountancy firm Price WaterHouse Cooper.

He Graduated from Queen Mary University of London in First Class. He later on earned a PhD from the Delhi School of Economics.

4. Gurumurthy:

Shri Swaminathan Gurumurthy is currently serving as a part-time Director of RBI. He is also an Editor in the Tamil political weekly Thuglaq and a Chartered Accountant. He is the Co-Convenor of the Swadeshi Jagaran Manch. Shri Gurumurthy is a graduate from the University of Chennai.

5. Mohandas Pai

The former Director of Infosys, and Head – Administration, Education and Research, Financial, Human Resources of Infosys Leadership Institute, T.V Mohandas is epitome of what you call good management and business skills. Besides, Mohandas is one of the key Founders of the Akshaya Patra Foundation, a midday meal program for school children. It has since become the largest midday meal program in the world. He also has investments in Zoomcar, Trip factory, Online Tayari and Yourstory.

Shri Mohandas Pai Graduated in Commerce from a notable commerce college in India under Bangalore University and later on earned another Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) from Bangalore University. 6. Deepak Parekh

The Chairman of India’s leading Housing Finance Company HDFC (Housing Development Finance Corporation), Deepak Parekh is one most influential business man having won many awards. Parekh Graduated with a B. Com degree under University of Mumbai. He went to England in 1965 to qualify as a Chartered Accountant with the ICAEW; he completed his articles with Whinney, Smith and Whinney (which later became Ernst & Young) in London.
