 Higher education is not only about academics but also about grooming the students and leading them to the right track without adulterating the cultures and traditions. The SICC Fest Committee organized Utsav 2019 on November 14, 2019. Utsav celebrated the rich cultural tradition of India with all the SICCians dressed in Indian ethnic wear.

There was a Rangoli Competition and a No-Flame Cooking Competition for all the students of B.Com and BBA. Founder, Dr. Bijaya Kumar Sahoo graced the occasion and gave his valuable judgment for the Competitions.

The first prize of the Rangoli Competition was won by Trushita Mohapatra and Smruti Rekha Sahoo of B.Com Third Semester where as second prize was won by Ankita Dash and Aditi Mishra of BBA First Semester.

The first prize of No Flame Cooking Competition was carried away by Abhipsa Biswal and Shivangi Panda of B.Com Third Semester. The second prize was taken away Radhika Haridas and Krishna Khuntia of B.Com Third Semester who also shared it with Nirmalya Kumar Pati and Sohan Aditya of B.Com First Semester.

On the occasion of Children’s Day Dr. Sahoo inspired everyone to keep the spirit of a child alive in everyone’s heart and soul to enjoy the joy of life to the fullest.
